Very early in my life

I discovered creation through painting and it was a real revelation as well as access to my inner world.

I work a lot with my feelings, it is really from this that I let myself be guided. At the beginning, very often preceded by meditation or relaxation, I start intuitively spontaneously. Each work is a surprise for me and I build the work in total contemplation of what emanates at each moment. I have a fascination with everything related to femininity and the uterus.

For a very long time, I relate to what comes from of my belly. This creative guidance which comes directly from my matrix, highlights this sacred space including my interiority. Thus, the feminine energy is found everywhere in my work. The sacredness of Aboriginal art. Also Aboriginal art inspires me enormously; hence the pointillism. The aborigines connect to their divines through art: they call it “The time of a dream”.

Art, for them, is a funnel that connects them to a creative space-time keeping their spirituality alive to transmit their history. Pointillism, among others, is one way. With this technique, I pay homage to them in my works by connecting myself to this meditative space. The pointillism of the patient presence which soothes, heals and nourishes me in the creation of my work!

I like to paint pictures large enough so that I can express: the spontaneous gesture. In addition, I also work on small circular formats. I paint, among other things, on logs. The organic side of wood is completely in touch with me. I let the wood dry and crack; worshiping the imperfect expression of this living matter.

I also do watercolors on paper that turn into a cocoon, very influenced by the energy of my belly and the dark space that I keep almost just to myself! Wool, too, is an integral part of many of my works. It is this protection, this soft wrap: the winter of my creativity.

My own winter, often when it arrives, my creativity becomes deeper. So I can finish a work and wrap it almost completely in wool to show only a small part. This creative process comes back often and is directly linked to my feelings.

My artistic approach

I started to discover my interiority with painting at the age of 16. Yoga happened much later, but it was yoga that awakened me to all this feeling that was going through my body. The practice of yoga opens up the body and the space. In me, this beautiful creative energy takes place and circulates in a free and fluid way. Creation is a total openness to all possibilities. This is my way without a doubt; a path where the heart is at the first place.
